Requirements for Admission
Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons.)
The applicant must be a permanent citizen of Bangladesh. Foreign students can apply for admission only in the seats reserved for foreign students by the government.
Candidates must have a combined GPA of at least 8.00 on a scale of 10.00 in SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examinations (from the Science group), with a minimum GPA of 3.50 (on a scale of 5.00) in each examination separately.
Minimum GPA of 3.50 in Chemistry and Biology.
Minimum GPA of 3.00 in Physics and Mathematics.
A minimum grade of B in Chemistry and Biology.
A minimum grade of C in Physics and Mathematics.
Candidates who have a GPA less than 3.00, have failed, or have not taken Mathematics in HSC/A-Level/Equivalent may still be eligible for admission. However, they must complete an additional 3-credit Mathematics course relevant to the B.Pharm curriculum during their study period.
Candidates must apply for admission within three (3) years from the year their HSC/A- Level/Equivalent results were published.
In the case of foreign students who want to take admission to the B. Pharm program, they must complete 12 (twelve) years of education and get the equivalency certificate from Bangladesh Pharmacy Council by paying the prescribed fee.
